We have decided to have a beach wedding. What now?
Call, text or e-mail me to secure your wedding date! There is no bad time to have a wedding on the beach and we do weddings year round. June is by far our busiest month so if you are planning a June wedding, please book as soon as possible. Keep in mind that Friday & Saturday sunset ceremonies are the first to be booked. We can provide the sunset time for your requested date upon inquiry.
Where are you located?
We are located in Northwest Florida on the Gulf of Mexico. We service Navarre Beach, Pensacola Beach, Fort Walton Beach,
Panama City Beach, Okaloosa Island, Perdido Key, Destin Beach and surrounding areas.
Why should we choose Tropical Beach Weddings?
We know this is one of the most important days of your life. You have probably been poring over every last detail of dress, flowers, music, vows and more for months if not years! We expect you have put the same effort into finding the ‘perfect’ wedding company to bring it all together for you. After talking to other wedding vendors, many of whom provide very similar packages and services we want you to choose the company that ‘just feels right’ to you. We are a small company and rarely perform more than one wedding on a given day, which means that on your wedding day, you are the most important thing we have to do. This allows us to give you the personalized service, attention to detail and flexibility that your special day deserves.
Will we be able to meet prior to our wedding day?
Of course! We routinely meet with our brides prior to the wedding day. This is an opportunity to see the wedding location and discuss final details such as photo staging and bridal entrance.
How soon should we reserve our date and time?
We accept bookings up to 1 year in advance. If you choose a Friday or Saturday sunset- we suggest putting a deposit down as soon as you have decided on a date as these are our most popular times.
How do we book our wedding?
Call, text or email us! We can confirm the availability of your chosen date and accept your deposit to ‘save the date’. We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express, money orders and personal checks. Your receipt and personalized contract will be e-mailed within 48 hrs.
How do we choose a location for our ceremony?
The choice is yours, however there are many factors to consider. We have performed weddings on public beaches, county parks, state parks, hotels, condos and beach houses. It’s important to note that all of our beaches are ‘public access’, not even the finest hotel can restrict access to the beach. This allows you nearly unlimited choice of location but we can help you choose a spot that is the perfect one for your ceremony.
Can we get married at the location we are staying at?
Yes. You should obtain permission from your rental company (some locations charge a fee) but we will gladly come to you.
What happens if it rains?
First, we have NEVER cancelled a wedding due to weather! On rare occasions we have had to adjust the time or even the day or moved to a covered area to stay dry but know that we are committed to ensure your ceremony goes off beautifully, with or without the cooperation of mother nature. If you are particularly concerned then you may want to consider purchasing wedding insurance.
Will there be other people on the beach?
All beaches in the state of Florida are public beaches. Summertime, Spring break and resort locations obviously attract crowds to our beautiful beaches. While we cannot restrict access to the beach-going public, our knowledge of the area can help guide you to a more intimate location.
May we bring our own Officiant?
Yes, and as long as he/she is Ordained or a Notary for the State of FL we will deduct $100.00 from your package price.
Who takes the photographs?
All packages include photos by our hand-picked photographers who are experienced in beach photography. All the photos on our website and our Facebook page were taken by our photographers.
May we provide our own photographer?
Yes, and we will gladly discount your package price. Based on past experience we strongly urge you to consider the value of our photo package, which includes edited, copyright-free digital images taken by experienced beach photographers.
Do you provide music?
Yes. Music is an a la carte item - the fee is $100. We can provide traditional processional and recessional music, suggest popular tracks and work with you to customize music to your specific desires. We can also recommend “live” music: harpist, violinist, cellist, guitarist, etc.
Are rehearsals included?
No. There is an additional fee of $200.00. Must be scheduled no later than 2 hours prior to sunset time. Cost includes 1 person from our staff who will be there to walk you through the ceremony and answer any last minute questions. Tropical Packages are officiate and photographer only-
